ramen rating: wan tan men

Wan tan men with shoyu flavored soup. And piggy naruto (fish cake slices)! The noodles are so-so. They soup is decent. And there’s a few pieces of won ton and assorted goodies. It’s not the best ramen in the world, but it’s fun! It gets a 7.5 (bonus half point for the piggies).

This is a white tonkotsu ramen. Once again, the obligatory mystery meat. The noodles are TOUGH. I actually thought I undercooked it but I followed the instructions exactly. Even after I put it in the microwave for another 30 seconds, it was still pretty tough to chew. Not only that, but the noodles were tasteless....

ramen rating: ezo noodle cafe – irvine, ca (closed)

sorry i don’t have a picture. and actually, the last time i went to ezo was over a year or two ago. this is the ezo noodle cafe in irvine, at the tustin marketplace. so why am i rating it? because it’s the worst ramen i’ve ever had. it’s even worse than most instant ramen...

ramen rating: chicken ramen

The “original” Nissin chicken ramen. And it has…holy cow! There’s a chunk of styrof–I mean egg custardy thing in it! How cool is that! The noodles have a slightly burnt taste to it, but decent. Nothing extraordinary. The soup isn’t bad. Overall it’s just decent. But I gotta give an extra point for the egg...
