Nice review! I have been going to Ebisu for years and they are still great. Their shoyu ramen is really good. Their fried rice is amazing...however, I ask for less oil because they use A LOT of oil. Their okonomiyaki is very tasty and their yakisoba is the best! I do, however, consider them second place for tokyo-style shoyu ramen... first place goes to KORYU, on Baker at Bear St. in Costa Mesa. Their soup is more complex, they use browned and reduced onions (like onion soup mix) and their noodles are just firm enough and don't taste like soda. I hit Ebisu about once a week and Koryu twice a week. I'm getting hungry! :-)
