@Anonymous: yes, go check it out! When I was there a few months ago, the price was around $8-9 for a medium bowl of ramen, depending on which one. Unless they’ve changed things, the lunch menu was much smaller than the dinner menu. The dinner menu has a lot more items than ramen.

Awesome!! I live about 10 minutes away from this place and I’ve been meaning to try it for some time, but I went there on Monday with friends, not bothering to look up the odd (to me) schedule. But I’ll definitely make a trip there soon, now. Do you have anything to say about the pricing or breadth of the menu?

@Hank: I don’t know of any place in LA that serves this kind of ramen. That’s why everyone’s making such a big deal out of Ramen CA and it’s what they’re trying to do: take ramen to the next level.

Hey.. I love Ramen California..
I love the broth.. I love the little bits of veggies. I love the nummy noodles.
The use of dark meat chicken is a dream come true! white meat is so bland.
The place is nice and so is the staff.
I’m not big into the miso.. or Curry based soups.
Are there any other places in the LA area that serve this kinda ramen?

@chrisinthebox: I haven’t made it back there yet but next time I do wanna go there during dinnertime. And one of the main reasons is the Kasha bread. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it!

I tried the cheese-tofu and the grilled chicken ramen. They’re everything you said they would be. But I do prefer the cheese tofu.

You gotta try their Kasha bread if you haven’t already. It’s a chinese bao brushed with butter, and rosemary then sprinkled with seasalt. It was amazing.

@bill: they’re open for lunch and dinner! But for lunch, they close at 1:30pm instead of 2:30. This’ll probably change in a week or so, but you might wanna call first to check.
