the ramen blog & other goodies!

argh…can’t remember…i *think* it was pretty good…oh wait…i think the noodles were good, but the soup was just so-so. um…6 out of 10?

interesting container…there’s a built-in strainer so you can cook the noodles, dump the water, then put in fresh water for the soup. neato! the meat was yummy…juicy and melts in your mouth…too bad the noodles and soup were just so-so…without meat it gets a 5…with the meat it gets a 6.

really average ramen, but it was on sale for 99 cents!. it’s got bits of seaweed, corn, green onion, and sesame seeds. it gets a 5.

lots and lots and lots of seaweed…but otherwise just decent. soup is mild and just a tiny bit spicy. noodles are very average. i give it a 6 (7 if you really like seaweed!)

another tonkotsu soup based ramen…this time the *flavor *is ok but kind’a bland and the soup powder didn’t dissolve too well. the noodles are the thin kind and boring. it’s not *bad*…just not particularly good. i give it a 5…plus a bonus half point for having the incredibles on the cover.

look!! that’s real meat in the noodles!!! and seaweed, and shinachiku, and other goodies. wow…the shoyu flavored broth is soooo good! …too bad the noodles are only so-so…agh…i give it an 8!
