This is yet another “stamina-type” (garlic) tonkotsu ramen. See the pink packet on the left? That’s a full packet of minced raw garlic. Yum! The garlic and soup is actually mild, and not too garlicky, but flavorful. It’s quite good. The noodles are a bit on the doughy and hard side, but also flavorful. There’s also a bit of green onion flakes and a few scattered pieces of shinachiku. It’s well balanced overall and gets an 8.

Just found this site, it’s awesome. 🙂
One thing: “stamina-type” doesn’t mean infused with garlic — it just refers to a combination of ingredients that’s meant to give you, well, stamina. Many stamina dishes contain garlic because it’s thought to aid in the production of said stamina, but it’s not a prerequisite — as an example, this “stamina soup” contains no garlic at all: http://recipe.gourmet.yahoo.co.jp/B001458/
Thanks for the kind words, and yep, you’re right. I stand corrected. I always thought that “stamina” was the marketing way of saying “filled with so much garlic that your wife/girlfriend/significant other will hate you for the rest of the night!”
